Physical Therapy Prescription

Effective immediately, we will no longer be able to obtain Physical Therapy prescriptions using the record review process. It has come to our attention that the process is not compliant with the State Physical Therapy Regulations, (see below). The physician must provide a medical diagnosis in order for physical therapy to be provided. Fortunately, we found that the majority of districts have been able to obtain these on their own from the student’s physician which we believe is the best practice.
