School Social Work Election Day PD

On election day, send your social workers to a county wide professional learning event that will feature presentation and discussion groups on the latest county trends, SSW Time Study Data, socio-emotional learning, assessment practices in the county, fresh intervention activities, and community resources. The day will be designed around participants.

Participants should bring examples of assessments, interventions and referral resources to enrich the learning experience. They should also bring, a laptop or web-accessible device, a population specific assessment tool, intervention strategy or program, and community resource. You will be sitting in groups of six according to the population (certification and age level) that you choose.

We will have discussion breakouts in the afternoon on a variety of topics. We hope to identify problems, refine visions and brainstorm possibilities in these sessions.

We need people to facilitate these discussion and record answers.
