TAGG - Transition Assessment & Goal Generator
TAGG - Transition Assessment & Goal Generator
Educators in all 50 states and multiple countries across the world are now using the TAGG! We’ve received great feedback on the audio and ASL videos of the TAGG instructions and items. Users of ASL especially appreciate the student in the videos using ASL to sign TAGG instructions and assessment items.
The TAGG validity evidence summarized below supports its use to develop annual transition goals that help students realize their postsecondary goals of further education and competitive employment.
The non-academic behaviors measured by the TAGG are different than behaviors related to higher GPA or classroom placement.
TAGG factor structure for the professional, student, and family versions remain firm after analyzing data collected from three large independent national samples.
Student gender does not significantly impact overall TAGG scores.
Unlike many other educational assessments, results of data analysis have shown TAGG scores are not significantly influenced by indicators of socio-economic status (SES), such as parent education level, parent employment status, or the percentage of students receiving level free/reduced lunch at the student’s school.
TAGG constructs predict further education and employment outcomes of the former students with IEPs.
These results and others will be added to the TAGG Technical Manual in the next few months. To learn more about the TAGG and to buy TAGG credits, go to https://tagg.ou.edu/tagg/
