Presented by Tracey Cohen Adult with ASD & Author of “Six Word Lessons on Female Asperger Syndrome”. During this presentation, Tracey will discuss the female perspective of ASD and strategies to support individuals on the spectrum. Further topics will include:

  • Lesser known differences of males and females on the autism spectrum

  • Why females are often missed in diagnosis

  • Common myths about high functioning autism

  • Strategies to embrace ASD and live life to ‘your individual’ fullest

  • Bridging the gap between awareness and understanding

  • Why diagnosis is beneficial and recommended at any age

This event is designed for individuals with ASD, parents and caregivers, as well as educators, therapists, social workers, or anyone interested in the female perspective of ASD.
